Extra, Extra, Read all about it...

If any of you have been wondering how I have been doing the past few days, well,... so-so. I have been a bit down lately, and the pdoc has me on new meds so who knows, any day now I may be back on top.

Anyway, I just wanted you all to know that I have been keeping up with the world and especially the local news even though I have been feeling down.

Now, just because we live in Arkansas and in a rural area does not mean we don't have hard-hitting journalism. Why, I ran across this little gem, just the other day in the in the local paper.

Wow. You mean you've got mail in Arkansas?! Does the mail dude pick it up in a mule cart or in a Model T?

;-P

Good to hear from you, dude. I'll keep my fingers crossed for the meds.

Caffeinated Librarian - Har-de-har-har. Well of course we have an official branch of the U.S. Postal system that runs in this area. But, our delivery service to our little farm is kind of like, well, have you seen the movie "Funny Farm" with Chevy Chase? It is a rather similar system to that one. Also, is it a bad thing when your mail carrier's name is Skeeter?

CeCe - Ketchup chips, Shreddies, and Smoked Salmon. Sounds wonderful. I just hope Skeeter doesn't get to it first.

Jeankfl - Aren't these stories a hoot. I don't care what anyone says. I love small towns.

Erin - Oh, absolutely. For my fifteen minutes, I am planning on putting one of our poodles in full showcoat on lead while I carry around the 'tater strapped in my back window of my pick-up while on errands to the feed store, to get hay, you know, all the small town stuff. I could make the front page. :)

And for everyone, thanks for your kind wishes. I have faith in this doctor and I am sure things will be fine soon.

You should seriously get a gun rack for your truck (a la Belinda's old Bronco) and carry the 'tater there!

I would move if I had a mail carrier like Funny Farm's:o) Then again their whole neighborhood was strange. I hope yours is a lot better.

hahahaha Well, umm...gosh, she looks pleasant. Glad to see you're doing okay & hope these meds help you. It's so hard & frustrating finding the exact right cocktail that works. I think it took me about 2 years, but you WILL find it. When you get frustrated or angry, write about it. You'd be surprised how many people will identify with you.
